    • Provided are a diagnostic system for a home appliance (100), and a method for diagnosing the home appliance (100). The method according to one aspect includes collecting consumed electric power information of the home appliance (100) by a power measuring part (230) ; transmitting the collected electric power information to an external server (300); and receiving operation state information of the home appliance (100) analyzed from the external server by the home appliance (100).
      Another embodiment discloses diagnostic system for a home appliance comprising: the home appliance (100); and a smart plug (200) having a power measuring part (230) which is connected with a plug of the home appliance (100) to detect electric power information of the home appliance (100), wherein the smart plug (200) transmits the detected electric power information to an external server (300), and receives a state result of the home appliance (100) determined from the external server (300).

    • A self-aligning bearing assembly comprising a rigidly mounted bearing having a bushing sleeve pivotally mounted within a smalldiameter orifice of a passageway through the bearing. The smalldiameter orifice is formed by a thin lip portion of the bearing and the mounting arrangement between the bushing sleeve and the bearing comprises a plurality of fulcrum points about which the bushing sleeve is pivotal, within a limited range, thereby to enable it to be moved into axial alignment with a rotatable shaft member that is adapted to be inserted into the bushing sleeve. The other end of the rotatable shaft member is normally supported in a fixed position with respect to the rigidly mounted bearing by a supporting frame; accordingly, pivotal movement of the bushing sleeve affords a self-aligning capability between the end of the shaft that is fixed against radial movement and the rigidly supported bearing.

    • A control meter has a first pointer that rotates about an axis. Also disposed on the meter assembly is a manually actuated element having a variable electrical value and a second pointer to indicate said value, the two pointers rotating about said same axis, and the second pointer preferably being mounted directly on the stator of the meter, although the manually actuated element itself is located to one side of said axis. Said first pointer moves relative to and in front of a slotted scale, while said second pointer is disposed behind the scale and is viewable through the slot. Nonlinearities between the meter-first pointer and element-second pointer relationships are compensated for by means of a non-linear transmission means operatively interposed between the element and the second pointer.

    • A demand meter is provided with an indicator drive and positivezero reset mechanism that is characterized by incorporating an anti-backlash gear assembly, which enables an indicating pointer on the meter to be reset precisely to its zero-indicating position without introducing any error into subsequent meter readings, due to relative movement between the gears of the indicating pointer drive gear train. The reset mechanism is further characterized by incorporating a simple adjusting means that is readily accessible from the front of the meter so that an operator can easily calibrate the position of the demandindicating pointer relative to an associated indicating scale. A self-counterbalancing indicating pointer is mounted on the first dial shaft of the indicator drive gear train and is operable, in combination with the indicator drive and reset mechanism, to prevent the pointer from being moved in response to mechanical vibration of the meter.
