    • A stabilizer system for a cylindrical-shaped undersea package orients the package in an upright attitude and eliminates, or reduces motion or rocking due to wave action and/or sea currents. An outrigger base assembly has a flat base surface to rest on the sea floor and is provided with upper surfaces having semi-circular cross-sectional configurations to contiguously fit adjacent to round outer contours of an undersea package. The outrigger base assembly also has laterally extending outrigger portions extending the flat base surface for increased stability. First and second case clamps have curved surfaces with semi-circular cross-sectional configurations that extend above the outrigger base assembly. The first and second clamps clamp the curved surfaces and upper surfaces onto the round contours and secure the undersea package in an upright orientation.

    • A sea-bottom mine actuated by a remote-control device, includes at least operational part and a plurality of explosive sections. While awaiting use, the operational part and explosive sections are kept in an elongated column-like storage arrangement with the operational part and explosive sections hinged or flexibly connected together. In the storage arrangement, the operational part and explosive sections can be releaseably locked together. When the mine is thrown into the sea, the operational part and explosive sections are displaced from the column-like storage arrangement and open out into a flat arrangement with the operational part and explosive sections still interconnected together.

    • An underwater intelligence gathering weapon system accurately places a weapon underwater and then communicates therewith from other platform(s). The weapon is equipped to maneuver through the air to a destination at the water's surface. A first transceiver, mounted onboard the weapon and coupled to the mine's logic portion, is activated after the weapon is in the water. The first transceiver can send and receive magneto-inductive signals. A second transceiver that sends and receives magneto-inductive signals is remotely located with respect to the first transceiver. Once deployed, the weapon can be controlled from a safe distance and can report any intelligence information collected by onboard sensors.
