    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to reduce the width of a walking type management machine provided with a stepless speed change unit composed of a stationary rotary member and a movable rotary member, and to realize a zero rotational speed, by disposing the stepless speed change unit between an engine and a transmission casing within the transverse width of an engine. CONSTITUTION:A stepless speed change unit 5 composed of a stationary type rotary member 9 and a movable rotary member 10 which is movable radially of the stationary rotary member 9 is disposed between an engine E and a transmission casing 21 within the transverse width of the engine E. With this arrangement the power of an engine E is transmitted to the transmission casing 21 through the rotary members 9, 10. At this time the driven disc 10 is moved radially of the drive disc 9 from the center of the latter by means of a manipulating lever which is not shown, a wire 14 and a rod 13, and therefore, the rotational speed is stepless changed from zero. With this arrangement the shift rotational speed may be changed from zero, and the width of the walking machine may be made less.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance the applicability of a walking type management machine provided with a belt type stepless speed change gear unit, for general purposes, by constituting the stepless speed change gear unit with a stationary rotary body and a movable type rotary body which is made in press-contact with the stationary rotary body and is movable radially of the latter to make it possible to steplessly or infinately change shift rotational speed. CONSTITUTION:By means of a manipulating element which is not shown, a driven disc 10 is moved radially of a drive disc 9 through a wire 14 and a shift lever 13. Accordingly, in accordance with a radial position from the center of the drive disc 9, the rotational speed of the driven disc 10 is shifted from zero, and is made to be possible to be transmitted to a transmission unit 16. With this arrangement the shift rotational speed may be infinately lowered.
