    • This invention bonds a seed material controlled in a predetermined orientation to a material to be processed under the state in which the bond surface is activated or in the presence of an insert material and then heats the bonded material to a temperature at which movement of the grain boundary is induced, so as to change the bonded material to a crystal member with a specified crystal orientation as a whole. Moreover, since not only a sheet material and a rod material but also a coil can be utilized as a material to be processed, the present invention can mass-produce a crystal member having excellent desired properties with high yield on an industrial scale.
