    • Even when a power switch is turned off, the controller of an injection molding machine does not shut off a power supply immediately. The controller determines whether the present state of the injection molding machine is a previously-set confirmation-requiring state, such as a lockup state of a mold clamping unit using a toggle link mechanism, or a nozzle touch state of an injection unit. When the present state is not the confirmation-requiring state, the controller shuts off the power supply. When the present state is the confirmation-requiring state, the controller displays on a display screen a confirmation window for confirmation of power shut off. The controller shuts off the power supply in accordance with a shut-off operation performed on the basis of the confirmation window.

    • An injection molding system according to an embodiment of the present invention includes an injection molding part (5, 6) configured to perform a molding operation, a power supply part (75) configured to supply power to a peripheral equipment (80), and a control part (70) configured to control the injection molding part (5, 6) and the power supply part (75). The control part (70) includes a power supply control part (71) configured to switch to supply or shut off power to the peripheral equipment (80). Preferably, the power supply control part (71) switches to supply or shut off power to the peripheral equipment (80) depending on an operational status of the injection molding part (5, 6). More preferably, the power supply control part (71) shuts off power to the peripheral equipment (80) when the molding operation shuts down.
