    • Apparatus for cutting through a pipe wall under water, as in decommissioning an offshore structure, has a body (16) which can be lowered down the pipe (10) and then locked in position, and a cutting head (20) at the bottom of the body with a toothed disc-like blade (52) which can be advanced radially into contact with the pipe wall and rotated about its own axis to cut through the pipe wall. The cutting head is then rotated and makes one revolution to cut right through the pipe wall to separate an upper pipe section from a lower pipe section. To keep the cut open as cutting proceeds, wedges (62) are fired into the cut around the pipe as the cutting head rotates and leaves an open cut behind it.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform the cutting work efficiently and precisely, by performing the level adjusting as fixing a cutting device main body to the inner wall of a sheet pile main pipe, and cutting the sheet pile main pipe and a joint part with a disc cutter and a water jet nozzle.     • A pipe cutter is designed for cutting a pipe from the inside by insertion of the pipe cutter through an open end of the pipe. The pipe cutter includes an elongated hollow sleeve with first and second ends in which an elongated shaft which is longer than the hollow sleeve is located for rotation. One end of the elongated shaft is adapted for connection to a source of rotational power; and the lower or opposite end of the elongated shaft is attached to a rotary saw blade. A centering housing is located between the first and second ends of the hollow sleeve and includes a mechanism for moving the sleeve and the elongated shaft located in it from an initial position with the saw blade out of contact with the interior of the pipe to a position radially outward from the central axis of the pipe to engage and cut the pipe through a circular or orbital motion of the pipe cutter.
