    • A rectilinear, non-slip, wiredrawing machine for metal wires (2) comprises dies (3); motorized capstans (4) able to receive and supply the wire (2) with tangential winding and unwinding, said capstans comprising two separate concentric and coaxial parts (5, 6), i.e. a first part (5), moved by an associated actuating motor (7), being provided with a zone (8) for pulling the wire (2), and a second part (6) comprising a rotating ring incorporating an output zone (9) where the wire (2) leaves the capstan (4), being pulled by a following capstan (4); and means (10) for synchronizing the movement of the capstans (4).
