    • A roller leveler for flattening a metal sheet or plate having a cut-sheet form includes leveling rolls disposed in a staggered state on upper and lower sides of a pass line and configured to sandwich and flatten the metal sheet while pressing it therethrough, a hydraulic pressing cylinder configured to press the metal sheet via the leveling rolls, a drive unit configured to rotate the leveling rolls, and a pinch roll unit disposed on one side of a leveling roll array area and including a pair of pinch rolls. The pressing cylinder presses the metal sheet via the leveling rolls with a pressing amount necessary for flattening the metal sheet, while the metal sheet is passed by a drawing force applied by the pinch rolls and a driving force applied by the drive unit.

    • PURPOSE:To roll out continuously any of round or flat bar or shapes in proper conditions by guiding a stock, to be rolled by a three-high mill, by the guides at inlet and outlet sides and a repeater, and absorbing the extended part of stock by the notched part of an inner wall at the inlet side of repeater or by releasing an outer wall actuated by detecting the biting of stock. CONSTITUTION:A rolling stock delivered from the lower stage of a three-high rolls 1 is fed to the upper stage of rolls 1 through an inlet side guide 2, a repeater 3, an outlet side guide 4 and pinch rolls 9. The stock is bent in the guides because the speed of stock at the inlet side of rolls is lower than the speed at the outlet side, but the bend is detected by a phototube 11 at the time of biting the stock to absorb the bend by releasing the outer wall 7 of repeater 3. When the release is troubled, the irregular deformation of stock is absorbed by allowing the stock to jut out through the notched opening 8 of the inner wall of repeater 3. Thus, any of round or flat bar or shapes is formed by continuously rolling a stock in proper conditions by using the three-high rolls 1.

    • PURPOSE:To roll continuously a shape steel with 3-high and 2-high mills by disposing inlet side and outlet side guides as well an outside wall opening repeater with an inside wall notch to one side of the 3-high mill and disposing inlet side and outlet side twist guides and an outside wall opening twist repeater with a bulging part to the other side. CONSTITUTION:The rolling material emitted from the lower stage of the 3-high mill 1 passes through the outside wall 7 opening repeater 3 which is provided with the inlet side guide 2, inside wall 5 notch 8 and is operated by the signal from a phototube 1 and the outlet side guide 4 and enters the upper stage of the mill 1. The rolling material emitted from the upper stage passes through the inlet side twist guide 12, the outside opening type twist repeater 13 with the bulging part 25 and the outlet side twist guide 14 and is sent into the 2-high mill. The rolling material is successively twisted 180 deg. by the twist rollers 22 of the guides 12, 14 and the guide rollers 23 of the repeater 13. The notch 8 and bulging part 25 of the repeaters 3, 13 absorb the elongated rolling material to eliminate the trouble when the outside walls 7, 17 fail to open or the trouble arises in releasing the elongated rolling material. The multi-stands continuous rolling of the shape steel is made possible by the above-mentioned method.
