The feed mixer including: a container formed from two side walls, two end walls, wherein the end walls have a slope and curvature and are connected to the side walls to form an auger well, and a base connected with the side walls and end walls at a lower end thereof; and a liner configured to have a truncated conical shape that matches the slope and curvature of the end walls and fits within the auger well such that: a bottom of the liner contacts the base and has a diameter similar to a diameter of the path of the auger at the base; and a top of the liner contacts with the end walls and side walls. The auger well may include two auger wells and the liner may include two truncated conical shapes fitting in each of the two auger wells.

摘要： A feed-mixing device for receiving, mixing and dispensing animal feed includes a frame with a mixing bin for receiving and mixing the animal feed therein and dispensing it therefrom, at least one mixing device rotatably drivable in the mixing bin using a drive, in particular a vertical mixing auger, for mixing the received animal feed, and a weighing device for determining the weight of the animal feed received in the mixing bin, comprising N weighing elements, with N≥2, each of which emits a weighing signal, and a control system for controlling the feed-mixing device and for processing the weighing signals from the weighing elements to produce the determined weight. The control system is configured to perform an, in particular fully automatic, calibration action of the weighing elements. The calibration action includes driving the at least one mixing device, reading out the respective weighing signal of each of the N weighing elements in each of M different positions of the mixing device, with M≥N, calibrating the weighing elements on the basis of the read-out weighing signals, wherein the calibrating at least includes determining a respective correction factor for the weighing signal of each weighing element by analysing the read-out weighing signals of all weighing elements. Thus, all weighing elements may be calibrated without having to detach the weighing elements, which provides very reliable weight measurements in a very simple manner.

摘要： A weigh hopper assembly including a plurality of adjacently aligned weigh hoppers connected via a frame, and longitudinal conveyor mechanism extending along a top portion of the weigh hopper assembly. Each weigh hopper has independent load cells in order to individually weigh the material discharged into the weigh hopper. The conveyor mechanism includes a plurality of gates along a bottom surface of the conveyor mechanism, each gate being aligned with a corresponding weigh hopper of the plurality of weigh hoppers. The conveyor mechanism is in turn connected to a plurality of product bins. A top portion of the conveyor mechanism is in communication with a plurality of product bins via a series of inlet chutes and gates. The weigh hoppers are aligned adjacent to each other and spaced so that each weigh hopper aligns with the transport vehicle.

摘要： An ozone supply device is described for generating ozone and supplying the ozone to a livestock feed system for application to livestock feed to sanitize the feed. The device includes an intake port for receiving air from outside the device, an ozone generator for receiving air from the intake port and converting oxygen in the air to ozone, an ozone compressor intake for receiving ozone produced by the ozone generator, a compressor pump for compressing ozone received through the ozone compressor intake, and an ozone supply line for transmitting compressed ozone to a livestock feed system for application to the livestock feed. The device also includes an ozone meter and display, a timer, an inverter, and one or more housings. An adapter is interconnectable between the livestock feed system and the ozone supply line of the ozone supply device to connect them together.

摘要： A rotor-stator cooling system addresses the problem of heat generation and viscosity in feedstock mixers by utilizing a cooling dome which receives recirculating cooling water. The dome is attached above a rotor-stator mixer assembly having rotor and stator elements. Cooling water provides for temperature control to feedstock being drawn into the dome, as well as the feedstock circulating within the mixing tank containing the balance of the feedstock outside the dome. The rotor-stator assembly is cooled as well. In order to increase the feedstock viscosity range in the dome, an auger within a tubular member is added to the drive shaft above the rotor-stator assembly. This enables the velocity of slow-moving feedstock to increase, forcing it into the rotor-stator assembly located below. The feedstock is then further accelerated by the rotor element and forced through the stator element.
