摘要： A filtration apparatus includes a tubular casing having a longitudinal axis and first and second casing ends. A plurality of partition plates are positioned in the casing and sealed thereto to thereby define an intake collection chamber between a first of the partition plates and the first casing end, a discharge collection chamber between a second of the partition plates and the second casing end, and a reject collection chamber opposite the second partition plate from the second casing end. A plurality of elongated filtration membrane stacks are positioned side-by-side in the casing generally parallel to the longitudinal axis. Each filtration membrane stack includes an intake end which is fluidly connected to the intake collection chamber, a discharge end which is fluidly connected to the reject collection chamber, and a permeate channel which extends between the first and second ends and is fluidly connected to the discharge collection chamber. The filtration apparatus further includes an intake pipe having a first end that is fluidly connected to the intake collection chamber and a second end that is fluidly connected to a first connector which is located proximate the second casing end; a discharge pipe having a first end that is fluidly connected to the discharge collection chamber and a second end that is fluidly connected to a second connector which is located proximate the first connector; and a reject pipe having a first end that is fluidly connected to the reject collection chamber and a second end that is fluidly connected to a third connector which is located proximate the first and second connectors. In use, a fluid to be filtered is communicated to the intake collection chamber through the intake pipe and is separated by the filtration membrane stacks into a permeate which is discharged from the discharge collection chamber through the discharge pipe and a reject fluid which is discharged from the reject collection chamber through the reject pipe.

摘要： Disclosed is a membrane humidifier for a fuel cell, which can prevent, without a separate gas filtering device, performance deterioration of a fuel cell due to harmful gases during a humidifying process. The membrane humidifier (100) for a fuel cell according to the present invention comprises:
a housing unit comprising a first fluid inlet (121) for introduction of a first fluid, a first fluid outlet (122) for discharge of the first fluid, a second fluid inlet (112) for introduction of a second fluid, and a second fluid outlet (113) for discharge of the second fluid, humidity of the first fluid introduced through the first fluid inlet (121) being lower than humidity of the second fluid introduced through the second fluid inlet (112);
a plurality of hollow fiber membranes (160) disposed inside the housing unit in such a way that moisture exchange between the first fluid flowing along lumens of the hollow fiber membranes (160) and the second fluid flowing outside the hollow fiber membranes (160) occurs; and
a first gas filter (250) provided in the housing unit, the gas filter being configured to capture harmful gas included in the first fluid, the harmful gas comprising nitrogen oxide (NOx), sulfur oxide (SOx), ammonia (NH3), or a mixture of two or more thereof,
wherein the first gas filter (250) comprises:
a first filter portion; and
a first frame portion (255) coupled to the first filter portion in such a way as to surround the first filter portion, the first frame portion (255) being coupled to the housing unit and having an overall shape corresponding to a sectional shape of the housing unit.

摘要： In embodiments of the invention, there is provided a cartridge comprising hollow fibers, in which blood flows on the exterior of the hollow fibers, and dialysate or filtrate flows on the inside. The external surfaces of the hollow fibers may have properties of smoothness and hemocompatibility. The fiber bundle may have appropriate packing fraction and may have wavy fibers. Optimum shear rates and blood velocities are identified. Geometric features of the cartridge, such as pertaining to flow distribution of the blood, may be different for different ends of the cartridge.
