摘要： A table top made of plastics is designed as an extruded profiled piece made of integral skin foam and cut into lengths, and has at least one longitudinal profiled marginal flange (20) formed in a single piece. In addition, several longitudinal ribs (22) are formed on the same side which delimit, in the same way as the marginal flanges (20), cavities (24, 28) with an open cross-section. The particular form of the table top makes it possible to obtain a table top with a very reduced thickness and very low weight, depending on the material of which it is composed. Metallic sections may be inserted in the cavities for reinforcement purposes, and are also useful for mounting table legs, frontal sealing flanges and other parts of a worktable. Thanks to the design of the profiled marginal edges in a single piece, the complicated state-of-the-art postforming manufacture process can be dispensed with.

摘要： An interlock secures adjacent panels of ready to assemble furniture in a selected angular relationship and includes a rigid elongated core member including at least a pair of elongated faces thereon disposed in a predetermined angular relationship (usually at right angles) to one another. A plurality of connecting bolts are fixed to the core member and projecting outwardly from each of the elongated faces in predetermined spaced relation to each other along said faces. These connecting bolts are adapted to enter into corresponding bores in the end faces of the panels which are thus secured to the interlock. These connecting bolts each have means thereon for engaging with suitable locking elements, such as cam locks, disposed in the respective bores in the panels whereby the connecting bolts are securely held in the bores with the elongated faces of the core member is close abutting relation to the respectively associated end faces of the panels.

摘要： Readily assemblable furniture composed of plural, precision sized, covered, panels and a module assembly. The module assembly comprises releasably secureable connector members and a precision sized, covered, support panel having an end surface. At least a first one of the plural panels is secured to the support panel by at least one pair of the connectors consisting of a plug member and a rod-like member. The plug member has a recess in its periphery and is adapted to be disposed within a respective cylindrical bore in the support panel. The rod-like member has a threaded end for securement to the first panel and a oppositely disposed end having a head for disposition within the recess in the plug member. The plug member is rotatable in a first direction about an axis extending through the bore to pull the rod-like member deeply within the recess to tightly secure the first panel to the support panel. Other panels are connected to the support panel and/or to each other utiliziing other pairs of connectors.
