摘要： PURPOSE: To provide an implantation disk as well as an implantation method therefor that restrains the manufacture cost at a low level with no request for highly accurate medical technology in implantation. CONSTITUTION: An implantation material comprising a plurality of support members 7 formed by elastic plastics is provided as a substitute for the portion which becomes unable to bear load among center portions of intervertebral disk. Support members 7 are inserted into central cavity 5 formed in the central portion over an outer annular portion 4 via tube 6 one by one until central cavity 5 is filled with support members. When central cavity is filled with support members, the support members are arranged to be in touch with boundary wall of outer annular portion 4 and simultaneously be in contact with each other, and elastic deformation occurs under stress. It is possible to provide a general implantation material having a comparatively compact elastic structure that is suitable for the cavity 5 in any shape.

SOLUTION: A fiber matrix is charged with organic solvent in manufacturing an implant applicable in stead of a natural structure part having a defect, by use of fiber matrix. In the solvent, a specified quantity of polyurethane is dissolved. Next, by arranging the fiber matrix in the wet atmosphere, the dissolution of polyurethane in the solvent is reduced to form polyurethane particles 43. Further, by heating the fiber matrix 2 and the organic solvent, the particle 43 in the solvent are moved to form a film 15 on the surface of the matrix.

Through use of a textile like micromatrix 2 together with a middle layer 6, a flat surface formation is performed in the presence of an internal pressure, compressive and elastic properties similar to those of cartilage layer of joints are manifested and defective cartilage part is replaced.
