    • According to the proposed method, implant materials with bone- and/or cartilage-regenerating properties are manufactured by reducing omentum or other fatty tissue from the patient's own body to small particles of tissue, preparing these particles in suspension form and transferring them to a carrier material by treating it with the suspension. This treatment can be in the form of, for example, filtration of the suspension through a powder-type or pre-shaped porous carrier material. The implant materials thus produced, which consist of carrier material and vital tissue cells embedded in it, are either in the form of a paste or pre-shaped, prosthesis-like implant materials, depending on the type of carrier material. The manufacturing process can be carried out in a closed apparatus, for example during an operation.
