    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method suitable for routine processing in a clinical laboratory, particularly a method suitable for processing in an automated assay procedure which does not require complex sample preparation, particularly additional centrifugal separation and cleaning step.SOLUTION: A determination method of this invention includes: a step (a) of preparing a first assay volume containing platelet-rich plasma from an individual and a detergent; a step (b) of preparing a second assay volume which contains platelet-rich plasma and does not contain a detergent, or a second assay volume which contains platelet-poor plasma from an individual and does not contain a detergent, or a second assay volume which contains platelet-poor plasma from an individual and the detergent; a step (c) of measuring the amounts or activities of analytes in the first assay volume and the second assay volume; and a step (d) of comparing measurement results. A difference between the measurement results is equivalent to the amount or activity of platelet associated analyte.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a closing device of an opening of a container lid having the opening reduced in heat exchange with the inside of a container and the periphery of the container.SOLUTION: A device 1 for closing an opening of a container lid includes: a fixing element 2 for fixing the device on the container lid; a closing element 20 movably connected to the fixing element and for covering the opening of the container lid at a closing position and for not covering the opening of the container lid at an opening position; and a guide rail 26 movably connected to the fixing element and the closing element and applied with a horizontal force with a result that the closing element is movable from the closing position to the opening position. The fixing element and the closing element are connected by a pair of mutually parallel levers 14 which are rotatably mounted on a fixing element side bearing 18 and a closing element side bearing 16, respectively. The guide rail is rotatably mounted on each lever via each bearing, and each bearing includes a rotation axis vertical to the closing element.
