    • The invention comprises N-g 1-aminopropyl-a -amino acids of the formula salts, esters and N-acylderivatives thereof, wherein represents a radical derived by loss of an amino hydrogen atom from an a -amino acid. Specified amino acids are glycine, alamine, valine, leucine, threonine, methionine, phenylalanine and tyrosine. Salts are preferably sodium salts and hydrochlorides; esters are preferably ethyl esters; and N-acyl derivatives are exemplified by N,N1 - diacetyl - N - g 1 - aminopropylglycine ethyl ester. The above compounds are prepared by reduction of the corresponding a -N-cyanoethylamino acids of the formula or their salts, esters or N-acyl derivatives. The above compounds may be homopolymerized or copolymerized with e -caprolactam.ALSO:N - g 1 - Aminopropyl - a - amino acids of the formula:- and salts, esters and N-acyl derivatives thereof, wherein represents a radical derived by loss of an amino hydrogen atom from an a -amino acid, such as glycine, alanine, phenylalanine, valine, leucine, threonine and tyrosine, may be homopolymerized or copolymerized with e -caprolactam to give polymers which may be formed into films, fibres, filaments and threads.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain a health tea capable of contributing greatly to the health, by roasting a ginseng and adlay, and mixing "puarcha" (a tea from Puar, Yunnan Province in China) and catalpa with the resultant roasted mixture.
      CONSTITUTION: A ginseng containing about 5/100mg saponin which is highly evaluated as a medicine and an adlay containing about 1/1,000mg saccharide in one grain are roasted, and "pruacha" (a tea from Puar, Yunnan Province in China) and catalpa are mixed with the resultant roasted mixture for improving the flavor to give a health tea for ageless youth and longevity.
