    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that connects a standardized multi-conductor cable to a different connector. SOLUTION: The apparatus for connecting the multi-conductor cable 20 of a first device 100 to a pin grid array connector 10 of a second device 200 includes a first printed circuit board (PCB) 26 which terminates a lead wire 24 of the multi-conductor cable, and the lead wire 24 is connected to a first PCB surface mounted connector 22 which is mounted on the first PCB. The first PCB surface mounted connector is inserted and engaged with a second PCB surface mounted connector 32 mounted on a second PCB 36, and a PCB surface mounted socket grid array 33 which is engaged with the pin grid array connector 10 of the second device 200 is further mounted on the second PCB.
