In the disk drive device 50, the fundamental frequency component of the cogging torque based on the LCM (Least Common Multiple) of S and P (S is the number of the salient poles of the core and P is the number of the driving magnetic poles of the magnet), is smaller than the second frequency component of the cogging torque, the frequency of which is twice the fundamental frequency.

A wire 72 of one end of one of the coils 70 is drawn out to the bottom surface 50b of the base plate 50 through a hole 54 arranged on the base plate 50, and connected to a driving line 106 for supplying a current to the coils 70 at a position other than the position of the hole 54 on the base plate 50. The hole 54 of the base plate 50 is plugged with a resin 102.
