    • A separation vessel (1, 2) is provided for collecting fluid compositions under sterile conditions and for processing under non-sterile conditions. An inner vessel (11, 21) is enclosed within an outer vessel (10, 20), each of the vessels (11, 21, 10, 20) having a sealable closure (14, 13, 23, 24) arranged such that the composition can be introduced into the inner vessel (11, 21) from outside the outer vessel (10, 20) through both the sealable closures (14, 13, 23, 24) without allowing the ingress of air or contaminants from outside each respective sealable closure (14, 13, 23, 24). A method for using the separation vessel (1, 2) is also provided, which enables a composition introduced into the inner vessel (11, 21 ) in a sterile environment to be removed from the sterile environment for separation, for example by centrifuge. The upper portion of the centrifuged composition may then be removed through the sealable closures (14, 13, 23, 24), while still maintaining the sterility of the composition in the substances in the inner vessel (11, 21), whereupon the inner vessel (11, 21) can be returned to the sterile environment, removed from the outer vessel (10, 20), and the separated contents removed and used. One application for the device and method is the extraction of platelet concentrate from a patient's blood by centrifuge during a reconstructive surgical procedure, however the device and method are also applicable in other circumstances where a sterile sample is to be processed in a non-sterile environment and then returned to the sterile environment.

    • The present invention concerns a bone bridge drill guide (10) for creating a bone tunnel in a target bone. The bone bridge drill guide (10) comprises: a first drill bushing (11) comprising a first channel defining a first channel axis, the first channel being sized and shaped for receiving a first drill bit, the first channel defining a first virtual channel extension extending in the direction of the first channel axis; a second drill bushing (12) comprising a second channel defining a second channel axis, the second channel being sized and shaped for receiving a second drill bit, the second channel defining a second virtual channel extension extending in the direction of the second channel axis; a main body portion (14) extending between the first and second drill bushings (11, 12); an extension (15) extending from the main body portion (14) for connecting the bone bridge drill guide (10) to the target bone, the extension (15) being sized and shaped to fit in a pre-created bone tunnel in the target bone.     • The present invention relates to a modular knee prosthesis assembly kit (10) for replacement of resected articular surfaces of a distal femur of a first patient side. The kit (10) comprises (a) at least one bi-condylar component (20) sized and shaped to substantially replace resected posterior and distal condylar bone portions; and (b) at least a first trochlear groove component (50) and a second trochlear groove component (70), each sized and shaped to replace a resected trochlear groove bone portion. The first trochlear groove component (50) comprises a first patella articulation path defining a first trochlear groove direction angle. The second trochlear groove component (70) comprises a second patella articulation path defining a second trochlear groove direction angle. An assembly of the bi-condylar component (20) and one of the first and second trochlear groove components (50; 70) forms a substantially complete femoral knee prosthesis. The second trochlear groove direction angle is different from the first trochlear groove direction angle.

    • The present invention relates to a bone plug compression instrument (15) for reshaping a bone plug. The bone plug compression instrument (15) comprises: a first compression element (20) comprising a first cavity (21); a second compression element (40) comprising a second cavity (41); and a base portion (60) for supporting the first compression element (20) and the second compression element (40). The second compression element (40) is configured to move between a first position and a second position, in which the bone plug compression instrument (15) forms an open configuration, in which the first and second cavities (21, 41) are spaced apart from each other allowing the bone plug in a substantially non-compressed state to be inserted in a space between the first and second cavities (21, 41), and in the second position, the bone plug compression instrument (15) forms a closed configuration, in which the first and second cavities (21, 41) are configured to be pressed against each other to form a combined cavity for compressing the bone plug received in the combined cavity. The combined cavity has at least a partially converging shape.
