    • The invention relates to a method for producing synthetic fibres from a melt blend based on fibre-forming matrix polymers and to fibres produced according to the method. In said method one or more (meth)acrylate polymers with a specialist function is/are added to the fibre-forming matrix polymers. The specialist-function amorphous polymer additive is a copolymer or terpolymer, comprises alkoxy, sulfoalkyl and/or sulfone groups and has a composition that is detailed in the description. It is incompatible with the fibre-forming matrix polymer and is used in a quantity of between 0.05 wt % and 10 wt %, in relation to the total weight of the fibre-forming matrix polymer including the weight of the incompatible additive polymer, to obtain an improved dye receptivity with dispersion or cationic dyes. The inventive fibres, preferably consisting of polyester and especially consising of PET, are further processed to obtain multi-filament thread, staple-fibre thread or break converter thread, each having an improved dye receptivity.
