    • The disclosed is a downsized and power saving antenna duplexer. The antenna duplexer includes: diplexer; first surface acoustic wave filter to transmit/receive low channel frequency band signals; first phase shift circuit to match the transmission phase with the reception phase of first surface acoustic wave filter; second surface acoustic wave filter to transmit/receive high channel frequency band signals; second phase shift circuit to match the transmission phase with the reception phase of second surface acoustic wave filter. Diplexer, first phase shift circuit and second phase shift circuit are formed in a monolithic structure in package that includes surface acoustic wave filters. The configuration can provide the antenna duplexer with a compact size, a lower current consumption and a highly efficient performance.

    • An antenna device includes a grounding board having an edge, and an antenna provided on the grounding board. The antenna includes a dielectric block having a top surface, a bottom surface, and a side surface, a radiator electrode provided on the top surface, a short-circuit electrode provided on the side surface. The radiator electrode includes a short-circuited end connected to the second end of the short-circuit electrode, and a portion extending from the short-circuited end and along the outer periphery of the top surface of the dielectric block. The portion of the radiator electrode has an open end located at the first side of the dielectric block. The side surface of the dielectric block is substantially flush with the edge of the grounding board. This antenna device improves radiation characteristics of the chip antenna and allowing a communication device to have a small size.

A transmitter circuit includes a transmitter side impedance converter comprising an impedance matching circuit and an impedance converter circuit, a power amplifier and a power supply unit. A receiver circuit includes a receiver-side impedance converter comprising a phase shifting circuit and a SAW filter. The power amplifier and the impedance converter circuit are integrated into one IC chip. At least one of the matching circuit, the power supply unit and the phase shifting circuit is formed inside a multilayer board comprised of a conductor layer and a dielectric layer. The IC chip and the SAW filter are also mounted on the multilayer board.

    • A low pass filter (LPF) can realizes a sophisticated transmission filter usable in a dual-band application. The transmission filter features a compact size, a low cost, a lower insertion loss, and an excellent harmonics-suppression characteristic. In the LPF, a high pass filter (HPF) section working in a high frequency band or a band pass filter (BPF) section, is coupled with a first LPF section in parallel between an input terminal and an output terminal. The HPF section or the BPF section includes a switch circuit formed of one diode that switches the pass band thereof to a rejection band. When a signal supposed to pass through the first LPF section is input to the input terminal, the switch circuit is activated to change the HPF or the BPF section to the rejection band for blocking a second harmonics component from passing through the HPF or the BPF section.
