    • A communication terminal that sends a call request to a call control apparatus that transfers the call request received from a calling terminal to a called terminal, comprises: a fault detecting unit that detects a fault when there is no response to the call request sent to the call control apparatus; a retrieval request sending unit that, when the fault is detected, generates a destination retrieval request for inquiring destination information of the called terminal and sends the destination retrieval request to at least one or more communication terminals belonging to a predetermined area; a retrieval response receiving unit that receives a destination retrieval response containing the destination information from the at least one or more communication terminal; and a call request sending unit that generates a second call request using the destination information and sends the second call request to the called terminal.

In the method, a parameter adjustment setting apparatus analyzes a data reception state output from the plurality of mobile stations and calculates an information-distribution-apparatus setting-change parameter and a relay-node setting-change parameter for making the data reception state within a predetermined range.     • A communication system includes mobile IP communication apparatuses in an access service network and having proxy mobile IP client functioning units, foreign agent functioning units, and DHCP proxy functioning units, which have a common IP address. The DHCP proxy functioning unit of a first mobile IP communication apparatus, connected with a mobile station before movement, reports information about the mobile station to a second mobile IP communication apparatus connected with the mobile station after movement. The DHCP proxy functioning unit of the second mobile IP communication apparatus receives the information about the mobile station and further receives from the mobile station, an update message addressed to the common IP address, executes an IP address update process based on the information about the mobile station, and reports an update result to the proxy mobile IP client functioning unit and the foreign agent functioning unit in the second mobile IP communication apparatus.

    • A routing apparatus comprises a resource management unit holding resource management information for managing a state of use of a communication resource in another routing apparatus that can be an adjacent routing apparatus transferred a packet data. When packet data for a reservation request is received, a determining unit determines the adjacent routing apparatus on the basis of destination information given to the packet data and the resource management information in the resource management unit to control a routing (packet transfer). A routing process at the time of reception of a request for reserving a resource (communication resource) is performed in consideration of a state of use of a resource in the adjacent routing apparatus, thereby preventing a wasteful routing at the time of resource reservation.
