摘要： A controller for a continuously variable transmission (CVT) mounted in a vehicle. The controller includes a first setting unit for setting a basic speed ratio of the CVT; a second setting unit for setting an adjustment speed ratio of the CVT; and a control unit for controlling the CVT based on the basic speed ratio and adjustment speed ratio. The second setting unit includes an increasing unit for progressively increasing the adjustment speed ratio according to a increase in a target torque interrelated value in a first operating area, and a decreasing unit for progressively decreasing the adjustment speed ratio according to a decrease in the target torque interrelated value in a second operating area. Between the first operating area and the second operating area, the second setting unit maintains the adjustment speed ratio that is set finally.

摘要： A medium processing apparatus for processing a medium ejected from an image forming apparatus includes a conveyor, a slit, a medium processing device, a stopper, and detectors. The conveyor conveys the medium ejected from the image forming apparatus. The slit communicates with an opening of a housing into which a medium is manually inserted from outside and includes a placement face on which the inserted medium is placed. The placement face has a first side and a second side orthogonal to the first side. The first and second sides are not parallel to a direction in which a side face of the housing extends. The medium processing device processes the medium conveyed by the conveyor or the medium placed on the slit. The stopper regulates edges of the medium along the first and second sides of the placement face. The detectors are disposed on the stopper to detect the medium.

摘要： A sheet processing apparatus includes: a second conveying roller pair that receives and conveys a sheet conveyed by a first conveying roller pair; a first folding roller pair that forms a first fold on the sheet; and a first rotation unit capable of rotating the second conveying roller pair and the first folding roller pair. One roller of the second conveying roller pair and one roller of the first folding roller pair are a common roller shared therebetween. The second conveying roller pair causes the sheet to be deflected and guided to the first folding roller pair, and the first folding roller pair forms the first fold on the deflected sheet by rotating the first rotation unit in a certain direction in a state in which the sheet is held by the first conveying roller pair and the second conveying roller pair.
