摘要： A device control system includes a detecting apparatus configured to detect an object in a predetermined space, and an information processing apparatus configured to control an illuminating apparatus based on a detection result of the object. The device control system includes an obtaining unit configured to obtain, from the detecting apparatus, information relating to an illuminance in the predetermined space; and a control unit configured to control, when the illuminance in the predetermined space falls below a first targeted illuminance, the illuminating apparatus so that the illuminance in the predetermined space becomes a second targeted illuminance that is greater than the first illuminance.

摘要： A system in accordance with the present disclosure comprises a sensor and an information processing apparatus that includes processing circuitry. The sensor is installed on a surface so that a detection direction of the sensor is at a non-zero angle from a line normal to the surface. The processing circuitry is configured to communicate with the sensor, calculate a position of a detection area, in which the sensor detects an object in a predetermined space, according to the non-zero angle and a location of the sensor on the surface, and create correspondence information that associates an area of the predetermined space with the detection area.

摘要： An information processing apparatus includes circuitry that acquires a measured temperature of a target area from a measuring device, detects whether the measured temperature changes during a predetermined time period, determines whether a human exists in the target area based on the measured temperature and the detection result indicating whether the measured temperature changes during the predetermined time period, measures a duration of time in which the determination result indicating that the human exists in the target area and the detection result indicating that there is no temperature change are kept generated, and determines that there is no human in the target area even when the determination result indicates that the human exists, if the measured duration of time reaches a certain time period, the certain time period being modifiable based on history information indicating a previously generated determination result indicating whether the human exits in the target area.

摘要： A heater controller performs on/off control of a plurality of heaters and includes a storage unit that stores therein a plurality of pattern sets. Each of the pattern sets includes a plurality of heater-on/off patterns for respectively controlling the heaters. The heater controller calculates a reference value representing an average of values of electric power supplied to the heater controller over a predetermined period of time; calculates, for each of the pattern sets, an output power value to be supplied to the heaters when the heaters are turned-on according to the heater-on/off patterns included in the pattern set; calculates, for each of the pattern sets, a difference between the reference value and the output power value; selects, from the pattern sets, one pattern set having a smallest difference; and performs on/off control of the heaters according to the heater-on/off patterns included in the pattern set thus selected.
