摘要： A fluorinated bis(acyl)-containing compound of Formula (I), where R1, Ar, L, R2, R3, Rf, n, p and q are as defined in the claims, and a fluorinated polyester formed from the fluorinated bis(acyl) compound are described. More particularly, the fluorinated bis(acyl) has an aromatic ring bonded to two acyl groups plus at least one third group that contains a perfluoroalkylsulfonamido group. The fluorinated polyesters formed from the fluorinated bis(acyl)-containing compound can be used to provide a low energy surface with a relatively low refractive index compared to many other polyesters. A method of preparing a monosubstituted-arylene compound of formula Rf1-L2-CH2—Ar2—CH2—W, where Ar2, Rf1, L2, R6 and W are as defined in the claims by reaction of a compound of formula Rf1-L2-H with a compound of formula W—CH2—Ar2—CH2—W.

More specifically, a method of ramping up a drilling operation from a static condition (0, 0) to optimum drilling parameter values (WOB*, RPM*) is provided. The method includes identifying a set of drilling control variables used in forming the wellbore. Examples include weight-on-bit (WOB) and rate of penetration (RPM). The method additionally includes selecting desired control variable values for a first identified drilling stage. The values may be generically referred to as (V1, V2). The method also includes increasing the drilling control variables from (0, 0) to pre-defined drilling control variable values (V1, V2). Preferably, V1 is a WOB value while V2 is a rotation speed value (RPM). The method also comprises monitoring a performance index (PI), wherein (PI) is a combination of torque (TQ) and penetration rate (RPM). The method then includes determining an optimal path to optimum drilling parameter values (WOB*, RPM*) using the Performance Index (PI).

摘要： A new method of producing fuel from biological oils and fats is provided, which comprises the following steps: (a) proceeding with a catalytic cracking-deoxygenation reaction for the biological oils and fats under heating in the presence of a cracking-deoxygenation catalyst; (b) mixing the product of step (a) with hydrogen gas; and (c) proceeding with a catalytic hydrodeoxygenation reaction for the mixture from step (b) under heating in the presence of a hydrodeoxygenation catalyst. By means of the method of the present invention, clean fuel produced by using biological oils and fats as raw materials is compatible with the fuel composition produced from crude oil refining.
