    • A flat evaporator is provided. In the evaporator, a common chamber formed on a substrate with a predetermined diameter and depth for containing a coolant is divided into a vaporization cavity region, a capillary region surrounding the vaporization cavity region, and a manifold region surrounding the capillary region. The capillary region has a capillarity generator capable of generating capillary action, and a top plate is configured to include an exhaust unit including a gas collector to exhaust a gas coolant generated in the vaporization cavity region. Also, the evaporator includes an auxiliary capillarity generator having a plurality of pins extending towards the center of the vaporization cavity region between the top plate and the substrate. The evaporator can be implemented as a small cooling device for performing cooling without external power. Furthermore, the evaporator can effectively prevent degradation of fluid flow force due to coexistence of gas and liquid by isolating a liquid coolant from a vaporized coolant by a capillary region, thereby significantly improving heat exchange characteristics.

    • A portable apparatus includes a main body having at least one electric part, a heat transmitter mounted to the main body for connection with the electric part, a connection member connected to the heat transmitter and having a first connection part accessible from outside of the portable apparatus and which emits a driving heat transmitted from the heat transmitter, and a detachable accessory device which is disposed in contact with the first connection part. Accordingly, a driving heat generated inside the main body of the portable apparatus can be emitted to the outside, passing through the heat transmitter and the connection member in sequence, thereby improving cooling efficiency of the portable apparatus.

    • A portable apparatus includes an apparatus body including a first main body having therein a plurality of electric parts, and a second main body connected to the first main body to open and close a part of a surface of the first main body; a radiation member mounted in the second main body; and a heat transmitter mounted in the first main body to be connected with the electric parts at one side and contacted with the radiation member when the first main body is opened by operating the second main body. Since the radiation member is mounted to the second main body that does not frequently contact with a user during use of the portable apparatus, cooling of the portable apparatus can be efficiently performed.

    • A micro robot includes first and second masses, each having a first contact surface having a first frictional coefficient and a second contact surface having a second frictional coefficient and formed to be inclined by a predetermined angle with respect to the first contact surface, the first and second contact surfaces being formed at the lower portion of the mass corresponding to a surface of a target object, and an actuator provided between the first and second masses for periodically changing the distance between the first and second masses and enabling the first and second contact surfaces of the first and second masses to selectively contact the surface of the target object in synchronization with a periodic change in distance between the first and second masses. Thus, the micro robot is moved by the change in the distance between the masses constituting the micro robot together with the periodic change in friction between each of the masses and the surface of the object on which the micro robot moves, instead of using wheels or caterpillar tracks. Thus, the protective cover can protect the power source.
