    • An apparatus and method for storing digital broadcast data in a digital broadcast receiving terminal. If the digital broadcast receiving terminal enters a weak electric field strength region during reception of digital broadcast data, digital broadcast receiving terminal stops the process of receiving the digital broadcast data so as to check whether digital broadcast receiving terminal re-enters again into the strong electric field strength region. Then, if the digital broadcast receiving terminal re-enters the strong electric field region, the terminal shifts a TS value of a received digital broadcast data frame to the value obtained by adding a frame interval of the digital broadcast data frames to the TS value of the previous data frame that had been completely stored just before the digital broadcast receiving terminal entered the weak electric field strength region. Thus, the invention enables the digital broadcast receiving terminal to drop the digital broadcast data frames received during the weak electric field strength intervals so that it may smoothly and continuously play back the digital broadcast data frames received only during the strong electric field strength intervals.

    • A method for creating acquisition assistance information (AA data) for acquiring of a global positioning system (GPS) signal in an assisted global positioning system (AGPS) is provided. The method includes receiving repeater information included in a mobile communication network of a terminal whose location is to be measured, in response to a request for the acquisition assistance information for the GPS signal from the terminal, determining a repeater delay caused by a repeater that is present between the terminal and a base station that is synchronized with the terminal using the repeater information, and creating the acquisition assistance information for the GPS signal of the terminal based on the repeater delay. The AA data that is based on the repeater delay enables a terminal to more finely and stably acquire the GPS satellite signal. Also, accurate and stable acquisition of the GPS satellite signal of the terminal enhances the accuracy of calculation of the terminal location in the AGPS.

A DMB station collects information about location of a DMB receiving terminal when a broadcast channel with regional conditional access features is being broadcast. The DMB station includes reception restriction information for limiting the reception of the broadcast channel in subscriber entitlement information of subscribers.
