摘要： Disclosed is a method for evaluating the qualities of the user's color vision by means of the FM chromaticity test or directly measuring the defective factors of the user causing the color blindness. Thus it modifies the color composition of a video displaying apparatus according to a numerical analysis of the color and degree of color blindness specific to each dichromatic individual, so that he may perceive the same colors as the normal person. Also discloses is an apparatus for performing the method steps described herein.

摘要： A method for compensating an image produced by image means for implementing image information takes account of ambient illumination. Luminance of external background illumination around the image means is measured. The measured luminance of the background illumination is compared with preset tristimulus values and a reflectance factor of the image means, a comparison result is computed, and a control signal is generated to compensate luminance and chroma of an image. Luminance and chroma of the image means are compensated in response to the control signal.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for correcting color in a portable image projector in consideration of an effect of a background color when the portable image projector projects images. The method corrects the effect of the background color to be projected, using color constancy technique, and thereby represents high-quality image which can be projected on a white screen. The method includes the steps of determining if a background color exists on a projection screen using a portable camera, converting the size of a mask image in order to connect a spatial position of an original image and an image photographed by a camera, correcting brightness of the mask image in order to correct non-homogeneity of the brightness of the projected image due to the distribution of different brightness values of the background color, and correcting the background color in order to correct color distortion of the image projected in different colors on the background color. The background color correction step includes the sub-steps of initializing chromaticity of the white screen in advance, and correcting chromaticity using a technique of color constancy of human eyesight.

摘要： Disclosed is a method for correcting color in a portable image projector in consideration of an effect of a background color when the portable image projector projects images. The method corrects the effect of the background color to be projected, using color constancy technique, and thereby represents high-quality image which can be projected on a white screen. 摘要： A wireless terminal for personalizing display colors of a menu screen using color information of an image, wherein the wireless terminal includes; a memory for storing the image captured by the camera module; an image processing unit for determining colors used to display the menu screen using color information of an image for personalizing the display colors of the menu screen, the image being selected from among images stored in the memory; a display unit for displaying the menu screen with the colors determined by the image processing unit; and a controller for controlling the image processing unit to convert a color model of the selected image to a Hue, Saturation, and Intensity (HSI) color model, extract color values, and map the extracted color values, assign priority to the colors by measuring distribution ratios of the mapped color values, combine the display colors of the menu screen based on the priority of the assigned colors, and finally determine the display colors of the menu screen by analyzing contrast of the combined colors.
