摘要： An electronic still video camera includes photography means having video signal production means for producing a video signal with respect to an object, color balance adjustment means for fixedly adjusting the color balance of the video signal of said video signal production means to a color temperature for daylight, judge means for judging as to whether an object is able to be photographed without flash light, and flash firing means for firing flash light when said judge means judges that flash light is necesary. The electronic still video camera can simplify the construction of color balance circuit.

摘要： In an electronic camera having a photographic objective lens, a blocking member is disposed in the path of a propagation of a bundle of light rays from an object. The blocking member is adapted to prevent the bundle of rays from impinging on an image pickup device except during a photographic operation. The blocking member is retractable from the path to permit the bundle of rays to be incident on the image pickup device. A photoelectric conversion circuit includes photoelectric conversion elements arranged in the form of a matrix. A charge control circuit controls the amount of charges to be stored in the photoelectric conversion circuit while the blocking member is completely retracted from the path. An image processing circuit produces an image signal based on the amount of stored charges.

摘要： An imaging apparatus of an electronic camera according to the present invention has a lens barrier arranged on an object side of a photographing lens; an imaging device capable of changing electric charge storage time; a lens barrier state-detecting means for outputting a signal indicating an opening state of the lens barrier after detecting the opening state of the lens barrier; a release switch for starting a photographing operation; an imaging device control means for starting electric charge storage of the device when the signal of the opening state of the lens barrier is outputted from the detecting means and for outputting a charge termination signal when the charge is terminated; and a lens barrier opening and closing driving means for driving the lens barrier to open on the basis of a turning-on signal of the release switch and for driving the lens barrier to close on the basis of the charge termination signal outputted from the control means. In this apparatus, by driving the driving means, the lens barrier is opened only during a photographing period, while the lens barrier is closed during a non-photographing period to prevent the device from being exposed to strong outside light.

摘要： A contralight compensation exposure control system which determines as a contralight condition and fires a strobe when there is a difference between the output of a partial light measuring means for measuring the brightness of a portion of a scene to be photographed i.e. the brightness of the main object such as a person, and the output of an average light measuring means for measuring the brightness of comparatively large area of the scene i.e. the brightness of the subordinate object such as the background of the main object. The control circuit of the system inhibits the strobe firing and actuates an exposure compensation means to shift the controlled exposure to the overexposure side when a detecting means detect uncompletion of charging of the main capacitor for firing the strobe even if the contralight condition is detected.

摘要： A camera having, in addition to a real focal length photographing mode, a pseudo focal length photographing mode, namely, a photographing mode in which a part of a photographed image frame of a film is printed at an enlarging ratio different from an ordinary enlarging ratio to obtain a print as if it had been photographed using a telephoto lens. An optical axis of a photographing lens and a flash emission tube are spaced from each other, and the pseudo focal length photographing mode can be selected only when a negative film is loaded in the camera.

摘要： A camera is adapted to operate with stored data by sensing the film speed data prepared on the surface of a film cartridge loaded in the camera to produce a data reading signal and reading the sensed film speed data in response to the data reading signal and detecting whether or not the the film loaded in the camera includes film speed data to provide a warning when a determination is made that the film speed data is not on the film cartridge. Film speed data may be loaded in the camera manually and the warning is interrupted in response to the manual setting of the film speed. At least one of the film speed data and the manually set film speed data is stored and the exposure data is calculated on the basis of the stored film speed data.
