摘要： The present invention provides a transfer charger which provides an intermediate transfer belt with a sufficient transfer efficiency, does not wear in contact with an inner surface of the intermediate transfer belt, has a low frictional property, and is excellent in its friction stability and an image-forming apparatus. A transfer charger (62) is mounted inside the image-forming apparatus where a toner image held on an image holder (12) is transferred to an intermediate transfer belt (31) to obtain an image. The transfer charger (62) makes a surface contact with an inner surface of the intermediate transfer belt (31), with the transfer charger (62) being pressed toward the image holder (12) owing to a pressing member (61). The transfer charger (62) is a sheet material consisting of a resin composition containing 100 parts by weight of non-injection-moldable ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene resin, 2 to 15 parts by weight of electrically conductive carbon, and 0.5 to 5 parts by weight of at least one powder selected from among PTFE resin powder, graphite powder, and silicone resin powder.

The outer ring (3) is made of synthetic resin and the inner ring (2) is made of a sintered metal, or the outer ring (3) is made of a sintered metal and the inner ring is made of synthetic resin. The outer circumferential surface of the inner ring (2) is formed as a convexly curved surface, and the inner circumferential surface of the outer ring (3) is formed as a concavely curved surface corresponding to the convexly curved surface. The outer ring (3) is composed of two radially halved parts. The inner ring (2) is fitted on the outer ring (3) by sandwiching the inner ring (2) between the radially halved parts of the outer ring (3) in such a way that the inner circumferential surface of the outer ring (3) and the outer circumferential surface of the inner ring (2) slide relative to each other.

摘要： A resin composition which exhibits good sealability while keeping creep deformation to a minimum when brought into sliding contact with a mating member at a high contact pressure of over 10 MPa, and which will not damage a mating member made from an aluminum alloy while sliding in contact with lubricating oil. The resin composition is a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition containing 100 parts by volume of a modified tetrafluoroethylene resin in the form of a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and partially modified tetrafluoroethylene, 5-40 parts by volume of carbon fiber, and 2-30 parts by volume of calcium sulfate whiskers having a Mohs hardness of 4 or less, and having, at 100° C., a maximum deformation rate in 24 hours, of 15% or less. A seal device to be brought into slide contact with an aluminum metal is molded from such a pressure-resistant, sliding tetrafluoroethylene resin composition.
