    • A method for rapidly processing a silver halide color photographic material is disclosed, comprising a support having at least one red-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a cyan coupler, at least one green-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a magenta coupler and at least one blue-sensitive silver halide emulsion layer containing a yellow coupler, wherein the photographic material contains a yellow colored cyan coupler, the total processing time for the photographic material is 8 minutes or less, and the processing solution having a bleaching ability for the photographic material contains an oxidizing agent having a redox potential of 150 mV or more. The rapid processing method yields excellent color reproducibility and the photographic material processed by the method has excellent resistance to fading.

    • A method for processing a silver halide color photographic photosensitive material comprises treating a silver halide photographic material with a bath having fixing ability and then washing with water and/or stabilizing the photosensitive material and characterized in that the amount of replenisher for water washing or stabilization is controlled so that it is 1 to 50 times the volume of liquid carried over by the photosensitive material processed from the bath preceding the water washing bath or the stabilization bath and that the photosensitive material comprises, for instance, compounds (13): ##STR1## The method makes it possible to substantially keep the image performance of the photosensitive material processed high while substantially saving the amount of washing water or the stabilization liquid and substantially shortening the water washing or the stabilization time.

    • The state of a photosensitive material processing solution is easily determined from values of multi-dimensional analysis by utilizing Mahalanobis distance. The Mahalanobis distance is calculated, and a determination is made as to whether or not the Mahalanobis distance is greater than or equal to a threshold value. If the Mahalanobis distance is less than the threshold value, the processing solution is determined to be normal, the Mahalanobis distance is displayed on a display unit, and a determination is made as to whether or not the number of sets m of normal values has become greater than or equal to a predetermined value m.sub.0. If m.gtoreq.m.sub.0, data of the characteristic values in the oldest set in a time series is deleted, and a set of data of newly detected characteristic values is added to calculate the Mahalanobis distance and update a database. If the Mahalanobis distance is greater than or equal to the predetermined value, a developing solution is determined to have become abnormal, the degree of abnormality is displayed, factors which caused the abnormality are determined, a corrective measure is determined on the basis of a combination pattern of factors, and the measure is displayed.
