    • A communication device includes a communication circuit part, a transmission path for signals, a ground, a coupler electrode, and a resonance part. The coupler electrode includes an upper flat part as an electrode, a support, and a connecting portion. The support supports the upper flat part. Thus, the upper flat part faces the ground and is separately placed therefrom at a height only enough to ignore the wavelength of the signal, while having a flexible portion which is elastically deformable in the height direction. On the connecting portion, the other end of the support is connected to the transmission path. The resonance part enlarges a current flowing into the coupler electrode through the transmission path. A micro dipole is a line segment connecting between the center of accumulated electric charge in the coupler electrode and the center of mirror charge accumulated in the ground.

The communication apparatus includes a communication part that performs short-distance one-to-one communication with a communication partner apparatus via electric field coupling or magnetic field coupling, a relay transfer mode setting part that sets a relay transfer mode in which a data file are relay-transferred from at least one first apparatus to at least one second apparatus, a storage part that holds the data file received from the first apparatus while the relay transfer mode is set, and a transmission control part that transmits the data file held in the storage part to the second apparatus with which communication is established while the relay transfer mode is set.

    • A pulse density modulator for performing a modulation process by changing a pulse density per unit time. The pulse density modulator includes a counting circuit for counting supplied clock signals, a first waveform data generating circuit for synthesizing count data outputted from the counting circuit to generate basic waveform data, a second waveform data generating circuit for synthesizing the basic waveform data outputted from the first waveform data generating circuit to generate pulse density modulated waveform data corresponding to digital data supplied externally, a clock correction signal generating circuit for generating a clock correction signal indicating the phase of an unequal cycle component included in the clock signals, and a waveform data correcting circuit for correcting the pulse density modulated waveform data based on the clock correction signal. Since the waveform data correcting circuit is provided for correcting the pulse density modulated waveform data based on the clock correction signal indicating the phase of the unequal cycle component included in the clock signal, the linearity can be achieved between the corrected pulse density modulated waveform data and its direct current component only by adding the waveform data correcting circuit.
