摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device that eliminates restrictions on a mounting position of a handrail and reduces burden of the elderly by mounting the handrail in a superimposed manner on an existing lighting switch box and providing a switch on the handrail.SOLUTION: In a handrail body 31a, a light emitting diode 44 and a touch sensor circuit 45 are provided, and circuitry for lighting by a detection signal from the touch sensor circuit 45 is provided. A part of an opening port 342 at one end portion of a handrail connection member 34a is superimposed on an existing switch box 41. An electric wire 55L for electrically connecting to the touch sensor circuit 45 is inserted into the inside 340a of the handrail connection member 34a.
