    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material spraying device into an elevator shaft which sprays material into the elevator shaft while avoiding obstacles even if there are some obstacles in the elevator shaft.
      SOLUTION: The material spraying device for spraying materials over sprayed objects in the elevator shaft 1 includes: a body in which the material are stored, which is arranged at the upper outside of the ceiling surface of a car 30 ascending and descending in the elevator shaft 1, and movably supported by a rack 30a having a hole for allowing a main rope 31 which hangs and supports the car 30, to pass therethrough; a nozzle 65 having projecting openings 66 through which the materials fed from the body are jetted out; and a connection part 64 at which the nozzle 65 is installed. The connection part 64 is fixed in an elevating/lowering direction of the car 30 to a guide holder 41 slidably supported by a guide rail 42 fixed to the rack 30a in the horizontally extending direction.

The collimation adjustment means 22 adjusts the focal point of the lens which constitutes an optical system 21, on the basis of the temperature distribution of the surface shown in the infrared image. Furthermore, features of the shape of a crack obtained from the past investigation result is utilized for future crack determination.
