    • A A mobile display device capable of communicating with a host computer depending upon whether it is coupled with a docking station. The mobile display device includes a wired module for receiving the wired input signal applied from the docking station and converting the wired input signal into a first video signal; a wireless module for converting the wired or wireless input signal applied from the host computer into a second video signal; a display panel for reproducing the first video signal and the second video signal; and a display controller for converting the first and second video signals applied to the display panel from the wired module and the wireless module depending upon whether the mobile display device is coupled with the docking station, and applying to the display panel a control signal for turning on and off images reproduced from the display panel upon the above-described conversions.

    • An apparatus and a method providing an automatic display control in a multimedia system. The apparatus includes a memory that stores predetermined display information; a controller that includes a communication module to perform data communication with an external device, set to be in a master mode to write the display information to the memory in an initialize mode and set to be in a slave mode to analyze display control data for a predetermined automatic display control function which is transmitted by the external device, in other modes, and generates a display control signal used to perform a function that corresponds to the result of analyzing the display control data; and a video signal processor that receives video signals from the external device, converts the format of the video signals to another format suitable for the display characteristics of a display means, and processes the converted video signals according to the control signal.

    • A method for charging a battery, including (a) stopping the charging of the battery after the battery is charged for a predetermined unit charging time; (b) measuring a voltage charged in the battery after a lapse of a stabilizing time measured from the stopping of the charging of the battery in (a); (c) determining whether a voltage difference between the currently measured voltage of the battery and a just previously measured voltage thereof is within a predetermined reference value while (a) and (b) are repeated; and (d) stopping the charging of the battery after (a), (b), (c) are repeated until the voltage difference is within the reference value by a predetermined number of times. Thus the present invention provides a method and a system for charging a battery, in which the voltage actually charged in the battery is measured while the battery is charged, so that the battery is stably and fully charged.
