    • A copper-free wire for gas-shielded arc welding, designed to have excellent arc stability upon semi-automatic welding or automatic welding so as to secure good feedability and lowering amounts of spatter. The wire has a flat-shaped worked surface, and depressions formed into the surface (toward the center of the wire) to the said worked surface reference while being provided on the surface of the wire in a circumferential direction.
