    • The present invention relates to a zirconium based alloy composite having an excellent creep resistance and, more particularly, to a zirconium based alloy composite finally heat-treated to have the degree of recrystallization in the range of 40˜70% in order to improve the creep resistance. The zirconium based alloy comprises 0.8˜1.8 wt. % niobium (Nb); 0.38˜0.50 wt. % tin (Sn); one or more elements selected from 0.1˜0.2 wt. % iron (Fe), 0.05˜0.15 wt. % copper (Cu), and 0.12 wt. % chromium (Cr); 0.10˜0.15 wt. % oxygen (O); 0.006˜0.010 wt. % carbon (C); 0.006˜0.010 wt. % silicon (Si); 0.0005˜0.0020 wt. % sulfur (S); and the balance zirconium (Zr). The zirconium alloy manufactured with the composition in accordance with the present invention has an excellent creep resistance compared to a conventional Zircaloy-4, and may effectively be used as a nuclear cladding tube, supporting lattice and inner structures of reactor core in the nuclear power plant utilizing light or heavy water reactor.

    • A driving apparatus and a method for a liquid crystal display wherein a picture can be inspected by a specific image signal when an image signal is not applied is provided. In the driving apparatus, an image signal processor extracts a complex synchronizing signal and a first image signal from a complex image signal input from an external source. An image signal generator generates a second image signal. An input signal detector counts the pulses in the complex synchronizing signal to generate a selection signal. An image signal selector selectively outputs any one of the first image signal from the image signal processor and the second image signal from the image signal generator in response to the selection signal. A data driver applies an output image signal selected and output by the image signal selector to the liquid crystal display panel.

    • The invention relates to a high power LED package having excellent light efficiency and heat dissipating characteristics. The LED package includes a base member, a reflector unit arranged on the base member and having a plurality of first reflectors, a plurality of LED chips mounted on the base member and surrounded by the first reflectors, and a connection unit arranged on the base member, for electrically connecting the LED chips to an outside. The reflector unit also includes a second reflector surrounding the first reflectors.
