    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a right angle type spring connector capable of necessitating no caulking work and lessening the number of components to be used and surely maintaining electric connection.
      SOLUTION: A narrowed section 30a is arranged on a front end of a conductive tube 30 so as not to slip out toward by projecting its pointed head of a conductive pin 14, and a rear end of the conductive tube 30 is set up to be an opening 30b. A connection section 32 reached to a mounting surface 22 and a contact section 34 extending along the mounting surface 22 are integrally arranged on the tube 30, and a connecting section 36 is arranged on the contact section 34. A hole 38a with a bottom capable of inserting the tube 30 is drilled at the front of a holder 38 of an insulation material, the tube 30 in which the pin 14 and a spring 12 are inserted in sequence is inserted into the hole 38a with a bottom, and the pin 14 is elastically urged forward by compressing the spring 12. A locking section 38c for locking the connecting section 36 is arranged on the holder 38 in the inserted state. Thus, the tube 30 can not be slipped out from the hole 38a with a bottom on the basis of connection between the connection section 36 and the locking section 38c.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the possibility that foreign substances influence on light transmission carried out by an optical connector, and to eliminate the need of considering an orientation of a plug when the optical connector is fitted.SOLUTION: An optical connector includes a plug 1 and a jack 2 for the optical connector. The plug 1 is a columnar body for holding an optical fiber 12; and equipped with a lens 11 disposed on a side surface of the plug 1 and optical coupling light transmitting in the optical fiber 12 to a lens 21 provided on the jack 2, and a supporting portion S for rotatably supporting a body of the plug 1. The jack 2 holds the optical fiber 22; and is equipped with the lens 21 disposed on an inner surface of the jack 2 and optical coupling light transmitting in the optical fiber 22 to the lens 11 provided on the plug 1. A fitting mechanism is configured, which rotates the plug 1 in an inserting/extracting direction of the plug 1 to the supporting portion S when fitting, and opposing the lens 11 and the lens 21 when fitting the plug 1 and the jack 2.
