摘要： A color adjustment method for a color sequential liquid crystal display (LCD) having at least one white light source is provided. In the color adjustment method, firstly, an original image signal is converted into a target color point located in a chromaticity diagram in a color space. Then, a modified image signal having white data is calculated according to the original image signal. Afterwards, the modified image signal is converted into a main color point located in the chromaticity diagram by using a matrix group. Then, a plurality of subfield data are calculated according to the main color point and the target color point. The subfield data are used for enabling the main color point to fall on the target color point.

摘要： A color adjustment method for a color sequential liquid crystal display (LCD) having at least one white light source is provided. In the color adjustment method, firstly, an original image signal is converted into a target color point located in a chromaticity diagram in a color space. 摘要： An adaptive feedback control method of a field sequential color display includes converting gray-scale values of a three primary color field of an input image into gray-scale values of a new three primary color field and a dominated color field (D-field); performing sampling; performing a pixel by pixel sum operation for each separated color through color gamut conversion to obtain a color difference sum; performing a feedback control at a bit precision to obtain a minimum color difference sum; and then performing a liquid crystal/backlight synchronization step of synchronizing a liquid crystal signal and a backlight gray-scale value of the input image; or dividing the input image into a plurality of blocks; performing feedback control operations; obtaining a minimum sum in each block to serve as an optical backlight value, thereby reducing a CBU phenomenon, and minimizing or controlling the generated CBUs to reduce the operation loads.

摘要： A three-dimensional display apparatus, including a backlight module, two panels, and a synchronization device, is provided. The backlight module has a light emitting side and sequentially emits a plurality of color light. Both panels are disposed at the light emitting side, and the first panel is disposed between the backlight module and the second panel. The first panel includes a first polarizer and a first liquid crystal substrate, and the first polarizer is disposed between the backlight module and the first liquid crystal substrate. The second panel includes a second liquid crystal substrate and a second polarizer, and the second liquid crystal substrate is disposed between the second polarizer and the first panel. The synchronization device is electrically connected to the backlight module and the two liquid crystal substrates. During a frame time, the backlight module and the two liquid crystal substrates are synchronously driven by the synchronization device.

The color sequential LCD device includes an LCD panel, a backlight module, an image processing circuit and a timing control circuit. The image processing circuit is utilized for performing image processing on an image data to generate a frame data with full color information, and sorting the frame data to generate a plurality of frame data based on a predetermined color sequence. The timing controller is utilized for controlling the LCD panel and the backlight module to display the plurality of field data outputted by the image processing circuit, so as to achieve color mixing in time domain.

摘要： A color sequential liquid crystal display (color-sequential-LCD) and an LCD panel driving method thereof are disclosed. By changing the arrangement of the pixel array in the LCD panel and turning on several rows of pixels in the LCD panel at the same time, so that the color sequential LCD of the present invention not only respectively reduces the scanning time of red, green and blue video data to make the liquid crystal molecules of all the pixels on the LCD panel have enough response time but also respectively increases the lighting-up time of the red, green and blue light emitting diodes of the back light module to promote the display brightness of the entire LCD panel. Therefore, the color sequential LCD of the present invention displays a single color or a full color image without the bottom color mixing phenomenon, and furthermore, the display brightness thereof can be promoted.
