    • A spray operation method for monolithic refractories, which comprises forcibly sending to an application field by a force feed pump and a force feed piping a self flowable mixed batch prepared by mixing, together with water, a powder composition for monolithic refractories comprising refractory aggregates, a refractory powder and a small amount of a dispersant; injecting into the mixed batch, compressed air and a required amount of a rapid setting agent respectively from a compressed air injection inlet and a rapid setting agent injection inlet provided at a downstream portion or downstream portions of the force feed piping; sending the mixed batch together with the compressed air by a nozzle piping to a spray nozzle attached to the forward end of the nozzle piping; and spraying the mixed batch from the spray nozzle to an application site.

    • A device is disclosed for automatically collecting powder material displaced from between a belt conveyor and a chute which is disposed above the belt conveyor for feeding the powder material onto the belt conveyor, and for placing the collected powder material onto the belt conveyor. The device includes a) a duct device (10) disposed adjacent the chute and the belt conveyor for collecting powder material, b) a horizontally extending hollow cylinder (31) disposed above the belt conveyor, the cylinder having an air-flow inlet (33) which communicates with the duct device (10) and having a slit (34) at its bottom, the cylinder allowing an air flow from the duct device to pass along the inner surface of the cylinder, c) a blower (40) to suck air in the cylinder, and d) a chamber (35) disposed under the cylinder and having a weighted damper (36) at its bottom. When the blower is driven, an air flow is generated in the duct device. Thus the powder material caught in the duct device is carried by the air flow into the cylinder where it is separated from the air flow by centrifugal force and accumulates in the chamber. The powder material is then automatically discharged through the weighted damper onto the belt conveyor.

    • The present invention provides a coupler having a high degree of coupling.     • An antenna switching apparatus which detects an antenna of good reception with high precision and suppresses control errors in antenna switching. A comparator compares a noise component obtained from a selected antenna with a threshold for noise detection. When noise detection occurs a predetermined number of times within a predetermined time, an antenna switching control unit outputs an antenna switching control signal to switch to another antenna. If all antennas are switched within a predetermined time, a noise switching count analyzing unit outputs a sensitivity control signal, deciding that the threshold should be changed. A noise detection sensitivity setting unit, when supplied with the sensitivity control signal within a predetermined time, increases the threshold to lower the noise detection sensitivity of the comparator. When the predetermined time elapses without the sensitivity control signal being supplied, the noise detection sensitivity setting unit decreases the threshold to lower the noise detection sensitivity of the comparator. The noise detection sensitivity is thus varied and adjusted to the actual reception quality, whereby an antenna of good reception is detected with high precision and control errors in antenna switching are suppressed.
