    • An air flow measurement device arranged in an intake passage includes a bypass passage having an inlet from which a part of a main flow of an intake air is introduced, and an outlet from which the introduced intake air flows out. A sensor is located in the bypass passage to generate an electrical signal, and the bypass passage communicates with the intake passage through a hole portion. The outlet is open toward a downstream side of the intake passage in a flow direction of the main flow of the intake air. The hole portion is located within an outlet projected area that is provided by projecting an open area of the outlet in straight and toward upstream in the flow direction of the main flow on a projection surface perpendicular to the flow direction of the main flow.

    • An air flow measuring device includes a housing, a sensor, and a throttle that is provided on an outer wall surface of the housing. The throttle merges together a bypass-passing flow and an outside-passing flow, and guides the merged flow toward the downstream side with the merged flow narrowed. The throttle includes two raised portions and a cover that bridges between the two raised portions and is opposed to the outer wall surface of the housing. The cover includes an inner surface exposed to the throttle, and an outer surface exposed to outside of the throttle. A peripheral border of the cover includes an upstream edge which defines the outer surface on the upstream side. At least a region of the outer surface including the upstream edge is swollen more outwardly in a shape of a projecting curved surface further on the downstream side.

    • An air flow measuring device includes a passage forming housing, a sensor housing, and a sensor part. An inner wall surface of the passage forming housing defines a measured passage. The passage forming housing includes a sensor attaching part. Measured air flows through the measured passage. The sensor housing is attached to the sensor attaching part. The sensor part is disposed on the sensor housing and measures a flow rate of the measured air flowing through the passage. The passage forming housing includes a guiding device for guiding the measured air, which flows along the inner wall surface of the passage forming housing on an upstream side of the sensor attaching part in a measured air flow direction, further toward a center of the passage than the inner wall surface of the passage forming housing on a downstream side of the sensor attaching part in the flow direction.
