摘要： A terminal device can connect to a first network whose communication speed is high or whose communication fee charged according to an amount of communication is low and a second network whose communication speed is lower than that of the first network or whose communication fee charged according to an amount of communication is higher than that of the first network. The terminal device first data with a large amount of data through the first network and stores the first data. Also, the terminal device second data with an amount of data smaller than that of the first data through the second network and stores the second data. The terminal device determines a connection state of the network and a storage state of data and controls reception of data used to output contents on the basis of the determination result.

摘要： A magnification changing device for use in a copying machine, capable of effecting a scale-up and-down magnification of a manuscript. The device has a first reflecting mirror system adapted to be moved at a constant speed and arranged to receive the optical image from an object, and a second reflecting mirror system adapted to receive the light reflected by the first reflecting mirror system and to move in the same direction as the first reflecting mirror system at a speed which is a half that of the movement of the first reflecting mirror system. The device also has a fixed magnifier lens upon which the light reflected by the second reflecting mirror system impinges, a movable third reflecting mirror system adapted to receive the light coming through the lens, and a magnification changing mechanism for moving the reflecting mirror systems in synchronism with each other such that a relationship corresponding to varying magnification degree is maintained between the distance between the first and second reflecting mirror systems and the distance between the lens and the third reflecting mirror system. According to this arrangement, any desired magnification degree is set by the magnification changing mechanism while focussing the light from the third reflecting mirror system.
