    • A refrigerant cooling apparatus is provided, in which a circulating refrigerant may be cooled to a prescribed temperature efficiently in a stable condition even when the cooling temperature of the circulating refrigerant is near the freezing point of the circulating refrigerant. This apparatus is one which cools the circulating refrigerant by countercurrent indirect heat exchange between a circulating refrigerant which cools objects to be cooled such as a low temperature reaction vessel 11 and a cryogenic liquid in a heat exchanger 17, wherein a first flow control means 23 which controls the amount of cryogenic liquid supplied by detecting the temperature of the circulating refrigerant allowed to flow out from the heat exchanger 17 with a first temperature detecting means 20 and a second flow control means 25 which controls the amount of cryogenic liquid supplied by detecting the heating surface temperature at the inside of the heat exchanger with a second temperature detecting means 21 are arranged in series on a cryogenic liquid inflow path 16 which provides the cryogenic liquid to the heat exchanger.

    • Provided is a reaction device having a simple structure in which a temperature control precision can be improved, and at the same time, the amount of heat medium used can be reduced, and the device is provided with a heat-medium circulation tube 15 in contact with an outer wall of a reaction vessel 13 containing a reaction liquid 12. The reaction device of the present invention is provided with an inlet for the liquid heat medium at the lower end portion of the heat-medium circulation tube 15, and an outlet for the liquid heat medium or a gas heat medium which is a vaporized liquid heat medium at the upper end portion of the heat-medium circulation tube 15, respectively. Gaps between the heat-medium circulation tube 15 and the reaction vessel 13 outer wall are filled with a filler 22. The filler 22 is formed by a material in which a liquid can flow inside the filler 22, and the outlet is formed in a direction such that the liquid heat medium is discharged toward the filler 22. A pressing member 16 for pressing the heat-medium circulation tube 15 against the outer wall of the reaction vessel 13 is provided on the outer circumference of the heat-medium circulation tube 15. An outer vessel 14 is provided which hermetically covers the outer circumference of the reaction vessel 13 provided with the heat-medium circulation tube 15.

    • The present invention provides a white smoke generating apparatus for generating white smoke of a stable density unaffected by air temperature or humidity conditions. The apparatus comprises an apparatus main body 11 being provided with a white smoke discharge opening 11a; a cryogenic liquefied gas supply mechanism 12 for supplying a cryogenic liquefied gas into the apparatus main body 11; and a humidifying mechanism 13 for humidifying the atmosphere inside the apparatus main body. The cryogenic liquefied gas supply mechanism 12 is provided with a first pipeline 18 which communicates a cryogenic liquefied gas reservoir 16 and a cryogenic liquefied gas emission nozzle 17 placed inside the apparatus main body 11, preferably at the white smoke discharge opening 11a side. The humidifying mechanism 13 comprises a second pipeline 24 which branches from the first pipeline 18 and communicates with a spray nozzle 21 placed inside the apparatus main body 11 for spraying water, and a third pipeline 28 which branches from the second pipeline 24 and communicates with the spray nozzle 21 via a water reservoir 25. A cryogenic liquefied gas vaporizer 22 is provided inside the second pipeline 24 upstream from the point where the third pipeline 28 branches from the second pipeline 24.

    • A reaction device having improved temperature control precision and reduced usage of heat transfer medium. The device includes a heat transfer medium circulation tube in contact with an outer wall of a reaction vessel containing a reaction liquid. The device has an inlet for the liquid heat transfer medium at the lower end portion of the heat transfer medium circulation tube, and an outlet for the heat transfer medium. Gaps between the heat transfer medium circulation tube and the reaction vessel outer wall include a filler in which a liquid can flow inside the filler. The outlet is formed so that the liquid heat transfer medium is discharged toward the filler. A member presses the heat transfer medium circulation tube against the outer wall of the reaction vessel. An outer vessel hermetically covers the outer circumference of the reaction vessel.
