SOLUTION: A supply conveyor 20 is structured in the way that it has unit regions 30, each for conveying one piece of the vegetable or fruit S, arranged in a single row in a conveying direction and a sorting conveyor 7, and that the transfer of the unit region 30 is synchronized with the transfer of a loading part 10 for one piece of the vegetable or fruit S to be loaded on. In addition, a stepped part 31 for partitioning is formed between the adjacent unit regions 30 on the conveying surface of the supply conveyor 20. In this case, it is possible to certainly fill each unit region 30 with the vegetable and fruits S by merely making the piled-up vegetables and fruits S even by hand in the conveying direction of the supply conveyor 20. Consequently, each of the vegetables and fruits S can be certainly transferred to each loading part 10 of the sorting conveyor 7 from the supply conveyor 20.
