    • A support stand includes a bracket and a base connected with the bracket. The bracket includes a main body, a movable member, and a resilient member. The main body defines a receiving slot therein, and the movable member is partially received in the receiving slot, with opposite ends of the resilient member resisting the main body and the movable member. The base includes a latching member sleeved on the main body of the bracket. The latching member includes a latching portion for impelling and guiding the movable member to be received in the receiving slot of the main body, and the movable member to contact the resilient member. After the movable member passes over the latching portion, an elastic force created by the resilient member extends the movable member from the receiving slot of the main body, and the movable member is latched in the base.

    • An exemplary adjustable support mechanism (50) includes a main bracket (51), an adjustable suspension member (52) slidably mounted to the main bracket and an elastic member (53). The main bracket forms at least two guide rails (516) including a first guide rail and a second guide rail disposed opposite to each other. The adjustable suspension member includes two crossed connected suspension frames (524, 525), at least two wheels (522) engaging the guide rails, and at least one stretching member (526, 527). The suspension frames are rotatably connected to each other. The at least two wheels are disposed at ends of the suspension frames. Two ends of each stretching member are connected to the suspension frames correspondingly. The elastic member has two ends fixed relative to the main bracket and the adjustable suspension member correspondingly.

    • An exemplary support stand for a flat-panel display monitor, includes a monitor bracket, a rotatable bracket for fixing the monitor bracket, an elevating support, a support member, and a hinge assembly. The elevating support includes a first link bracket, a second link bracket, a plurality of supporting blocks for connecting end portions of the first link bracket and the second link bracket. One end portion of the first link bracket define a first restricting groove and one end portion of the second link bracket defining a second restricting groove corresponding to the first restricting groove. One of the supporting blocks includes a restricting pole. The first and second restricting grooves are configured for blocking the restricting pole. A first end of the elevating support is fixed to the support member; and a second end of the elevating support connects to the rotatable bracket by the hinge assembly.
