摘要： This invention relates to a connector engagement detecting apparatus having a compact checking structure. In the first connector housing A', a short-circuit contact piece 19 with an elastic contact strip 19c is provided as positioned on the side of a deflectable space for a resilient lock arm 14, a shirt-circuit contact portion 19c 3 of the elastic contact strip 19c being opposed and spaced out to a bottom wall of the deflectable space, further, an depressing portion 19d of the elastic contact piece 19c being extended above over the bottom wall and opposed to the resilient lock arm 14, thereby, the elastic contact piece 19c being deflected according to the deflection of the resilient lock arm 14, on a supporting frame 17 in the second connector housing B', a couple of terminal pins D''/D'' for detecting engagement being provided to be opposed to the short-circuit contact piece, when the first connector housing A' and the second connector housing B' are incompletely engaged, the resilient lock arm 14 being deflected to deform the short-circuit contact piece 19C not to make contact with a couple of the terminal pins D''/D'' for detecting engagement.

摘要： An electrical connector for preventing the terminal from slipping off from the rear thereof. The connector comprises a connector housing having a terminal accommodating chamber therein, a flexible engagement arm provided to the inner wall of the terminal accommodating chamber of the connector housing, the flexible arm extending forwardly, and engagement portion formed in a terminal for engagement with the tip of the flexible engagement arm, engagement pieces at each side of the engagement portion of the terminal, and engagement projection formed at each side of the flexible engagement arm, the engagement projections each having a vertical shoulder surface at the front and a tapered slope at the back thereof. The shoulder surfaces of the engagement projections are engaged with the rear edges of the engagement pieces of the terminal while at the same time the flexible engagement arm tip is engaged with the engagement portion of the terminal to provide a double locking for preventing the terminal from slipping off from the rear of the connector housing.

摘要： The waterproof connector housing according to the present invention comprises a connector housing which includes a housing body having a plurality of terminal receiving chambers and an engagement frame formed around a peripheral wall of said housing body for receiving a mating connector, and a waterproof packing integrally formed with said connector housing between said housing body and said engagement frame, wherein an insertion groove is formed in at least one portion of the peripheral wall of the housing body for injecting a packing material therethrough, said insertion groove extending from a mating face between the housing body and the mating connector in a receiving direction of the mating connector. With such a construction an easy and reliable insertion of the packing material is attained, thus enhancing waterproofness of the connector housing. Further, the injected packing material remains inside an inlet of said insertion groove without overflowing therefrom. Because the waterproof packing is not exposed to the exterior, an attack by high pressure water at high pressure cleaning can be avoided.

Der dritte Wassersperrbereich unterdrückt das Eindringen von Wasser von einem Raum zwischen der inneren Wandfläche eines Mantel-Crimpabschnitts des Elektrodraht-Verbindungsabschnitts und einem Mantel.
