    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for testing a gas leak alarm capable of performing a test easily and speedily. SOLUTION: A control means 20 is provided with a storage means 24 for overwriting and storing a gas sensor output value and a fire sensor output value periodically, a testing means 27 for generating a test starting signal and an idling means 29 to carry out the first judging procedure (software side test) for testing whether gas leak detection by the control means is to be performed normally or not by adding a value not smaller than a value, by which judgment that an alarming state is generated is made to the output value of the gas sensor stored in the storage means 24, during idling after supplying power to a device, and the second judging procedure (hardware side test) for judging whether a gas detecting function is normal or not by applying testing voltage, by which a state not lower than the alarming state is generated forcedly, to a gas sensor 11 with a timing different from output measurement every output sampling timing of the sensor 11 and for judging whether a fire detecting function is normal or not by applying testing voltage, by which a state not lower than the alarming state is generated forcedly, to the fire sensor 14.

    • PURPOSE:To improve reliability by setting an area sound stop mode to an operation of an area sound stop switch in any of a usual time and a fire receiving time in a state that closing of a cover is detected, and also, in a state that opening of the cover is detected at the fire receiving time. CONSTITUTION:At the time of inspection, opening of a cover is detected, an area sound stop mode is set, and sounding of an area sound by an operation test in the course of inspection can be inhibited. On the other hand, the inspection is ended and when a cover 46 is closed without releasing an area sound stop switch, an area sound stop mode is released forcibly. Thereafter, fire receiving is executed, and when a setting operation of the area sound stop switch 36 is executed after an area sound is sounded, closing of the cover is discriminated, it is discriminated that fire receiving is being executed and the area sound stop mode is set effectively, and the area sound sounded by fire receiving can be stopped effectively. Also, in case when the area sound stop switch 36 has been operated again, a restoring operation is discriminated, and setting of the area sound stop mode is released.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate the confirmation of an accumulation time by constituting the title fire receiver so that an accumulating lamp for displaying a fact that an accumulation operation is being executed flickers, for instance, up to 20 seconds, and lighted from 20 seconds to 50 seconds after having received a fire, when a fire operation test at the time of inspection or the fire receiving in a steady monitoring state is executed. CONSTITUTION:When timers T1, T2 are started, the accumulation lamp 46 is flickered, a sensor line is released once, and subsequently, the timer T1 monitors whether the accumulation time reaches 20 seconds or not, and when it is before 20 seconds, whether new fire receiving exists or not is checked, and a flickering control of the accumulation lamp 46 is executed. When it is discriminated that the accumulation time set to the timer T1 reaches 20 seconds, the accumulation lap 46 in a flickering state is switched to lighting, whether the second timer 2 reaches a set time T2=50 seconds or not is checked, and when it is before 50 seconds, whether new fire receiving exists or not is checked, and it is repeated until the tier reaches 50 seconds. In such a way, by counting the flickering time of the accumulation lamp 46 by, for instance, a stopwatch, etc., 20 seconds of the accumulation time of a heat sensor can be confirmed.
