SOLUTION: For the insulating wire 1 with a conductor 2 coated with an insulator 3, the insulator 3 is made of a resin composition with 1 to 5 weight parts of silicone and 30 to 80 weight parts of metal hydride blended to 100 weight parts of base resin, and concave parts 5 and convex parts 6 of which the difference of height is 0.1 to 30 microns are formed on the whole outer peripheral surface 4 of the insulator 3 so as to reduce an area contacting with a contacting object by 1/5 or less of the whole area.

SOLUTION: The polyolefin based resin composition is obtained by incorporating a polybutadiene and a silane compound into an olefin based resin having a density of 0.910-0.925 as the base polymer. The compounding amount of the polybutadiene, is set at 5-40 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. olefin based resin. Further, a free radical generator, a silanol condensation catalyst, an antioxidant, and a lubricant are suitably compounded. As the olefin based resin, a polyethylene, an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/ethyl acrylate copolymer, an ethylene/α-olefin copolymer and the like can be mentioned.

SOLUTION: Preferably, the layer thickness of a carbon fiber tape is set to 10 μm and the layer thickness of a polyacetal resin is set to 0.5-1.0 mm. This rat-proofing cable 11 is composed by winding the carbon fiber tape 13 around a cable sheath 12 and by covering the outer layer of the carbon fiber tape 13 with the polyacetal resin 14. Thereby, the Shore D hardness of the outer layer of the cable is set to approximately 50-65 so that the outer layer of the cable becomes relatively hard. The Shore D hardness of the inner layer of the cable is set to approximately 60-70 so that the inner layer of the cable becomes relatively hard and the cable excellent in a rat-proofing property can be provided, and when the inner and outer layers are thus combined, flexibility is also excellent.
