    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing structure of a wire cover for a connector which can insert and remove the wire cover from either of right and left directions, can surely connect the wire cover to the connector by a lock rance with a simple structure and can be molded without need of a special molding tool. SOLUTION: The fixing structure of the wire cover for the connector is constituted where the box shape connector 1 which stores and arranges a connecting terminal 3 connected to a terminal end of a wire 4 and the wire 4 which is installed at a back end portion of the connector 1 with possibility of removal and attachment are covered, the wire cover 2 is provided to regulate a leading-out direction of the wire 4, a guide groove 6 is formed at the connector 1 side, a flange portion 15 is formed at the wire cover 2 side and the flange portion 15 is formed to the guide groove 6 so as to be able to be inserted and communicated from either of both end sides. A lock rance 16 is formed at the center portion of the flange portion 15 and a connecting stair portion 7 connected to the lock rance 16 is formed at the guide groove 6. This makes it possible to connect the wire cover to the connector certainly by using the lock rance with the simple structure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof connector capable of preventing water from entering a housing while the same sealing material can be used for preventing water intrusion from outer peripheries of a covered electric wire and a flat cable.
      SOLUTION: The waterproof connector includes a rear holder 4 mounted on a rear end of a housing and a sealing material 6 that is held by the rear holder 4 and seals an outer periphery of a wiring material. The rear holder 4 and the sealing material 6 are divided vertically into two parts, with the center of the wiring material as a boundary. A holder member 4a and a holder member 4b which have been divided are formed integrally, with a sealing member 6a and a sealing member 6b which have been divided, respectively. Recesses 9a and 9b for a covered wire to receive a covered electric wire and recesses 10a and 10b for a flat wire to receive a flat cable are provided on the sides of divided surfaces of the sealing members 6a and 6b, and the recesses 9a and 9b for a covered wire and the recesses 10a and 10b for a flat wire are arranged side by side along a terminal insertion direction.

      SOLUTION: The connector 1 includes a connector housing 2, a lever member 3, a locking protrusion 4 and a protector 5. The connector housing 2 includes a main housing body 21 and a hood 22. The lever member 3 is placed rotatably between a provisional locking position and a main locking position on the connector housing 2 and fits the connector housing 2 into the opposite connector 10 by rotating from the provisional locking position to the main locking position. The locking protrusion 4 is disposed on an outer surface of an external wall 22a of the hood 22 and engages with the lever member 3 located at the main locking position. A pair of protectors 5 is disposed on the lever member 3 and locates the locking protrusion 4 therebetween when the lever member 3 is located at the provisional locking position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotational lever type connector causing no disturbance in lever locking part engagement releasing work even when a connector configuration is reduced while using an electric wire equivalent to a conventional one.
      SOLUTION: On the back face of a cover 20, electric wire pressing ribs 29L and 29L' are protruded in the vicinity and the like of the base part of the lever locking part 24 to protrude downward beyond a bottom face 24a of the lever locking part 24. The electric wire pressing ribs 29L and 29L' extending vertically to the advancing direction of the electric wire 4 are protruded to be brought into contact with the electric wire 4. The electric wire pressing ribs 29L and 29L' are protruded by a sufficient height for preventing the electric wire 4 from interfering with a movable space of the lever locking part 24. Even through an occupation space of the electric wire 4 inside the connector is increased, the movable space for the lever locking part 24 can be surely secured by the electric wire pressing ribs 29L and 29L', and consequently, engagement releasing work for the lever locking part 24L is not disturbed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a cover capable of reducing opening of a cover in the case of an accident for lowering risk of separation of the cover from a connector housing.
      SOLUTION: On each of both outside faces close to an electric wire outlet part 29 in the cover 20, a cover opening prevention projection part 25 is protruded to face a side wall 19 in the connector housing 10. The cover opening prevention projection part 25 is tilted so that it is brought close to the facing side wall 19 gradually as it is brought close to the electric wire outlet part 29 side. When outward opening force is applied in the vicinity of the electric wire outlet part 29 in the cover 20, the cover opening prevention projection part 25 is brought into contact with the side wall 19. When the cover opening prevention projection part 25 touches the side wall 19, opening of the cover 20 is suppressed, and engagement between the locking projection part 21 and the engagement part 11 is prevented from loosening. Therefore, the cover 20 is hardly separated from the connector housing 10.
