摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rat catcher that causes no reduction in the rat trapping rate even when the catcher is used repeatedly. SOLUTION: The supporting frame 12 is set to the upper part of the box 10 onto which rats are invited, and a guide pipe 13 is vertically fixed to the frame 12 and a rod 15 is slidably supported in the pipe 13. The pressing board 16, also works as the ceiling for the box 10, is attached beneath the rod 15. The pilling spring 17 is set between the upper part of the rod and the supporting frame 12 and the pressing board 16 is energized downward whereby the captured rat in the box is killed by the pressure. The movable floor 31 formed at the rear part of the box is rotatably supported around the pin 32, the lever 33 is extended backward. When a rat comes on the lever 33, the movable floor 31 goes down, reversely the lever 33 rises. Thus, the microswitch 29 becomes on and the solenoid 26 is turned on whereby the pressing plate is energized downward.
