    • A touch-input device and an electronic device and a cell phone are described and include a touch acquisition module with an input area to execute touch acquisition operations. The input area includes a first area and a second area. A pointing object location module is used to determine the start location of the touch operation according to the data acquired by the touch acquisition module. A process module is used to calculate a first result indicating the coordinate of the pointing object according to the data acquired by the touch acquisition module when the start location of the touch operation is in the first area, and to calculate a second result indicating the movement of the pointing object according to the data acquired by the touch acquisition module when the start location of the touch operation is in the second area.

    • A method and a mobile terminal for processing touch input are provided. The mobile terminal has a rectangular touch screen with long sides and short sides. The mobile terminal having two state: a first state in which only the short sides are parallel with a horizontal surface and a second state in which only the long sides are parallel with the horizontal surface. The method comprises the following steps of: obtaining from the touch screen a gesture in a first direction as input by a touch object on the touch screen when the mobile terminal is in the first state; triggering a first touch command in response to the gesture in the first direction; obtaining from the touch screen a gesture in a second direction as input by the touch object on the touch screen when the mobile terminal is in the second state, the second direction being the same as the first direction; and triggering the first touch command in response to the gesture in the second direction. According to the embodiments of the present invention, it is possible to achieve a uniform operation gesture for the same operational instruction by means of self-conversion of the mobile terminal, such that the user experience can be improved.

    • A touch processing method and a mobile terminal are described. The mobile terminal includes a touch sensing device that has a first area and a second area. A touching point in the first area has a first response level and a touching point in the second area has a second response level, with the first response level being higher than the second response level. The method includes acquiring a first touching point and a second touching point; and responding to the first touching point when the first touching point is in the first area while the second touching point is in the second area. When a user holds the mobile terminal to operate, the mobile terminal may respond to useful touch commands automatically and shield touch commands generated by the misoperation in the second area.
