    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase-change ink suitable for use in a phase-change inkjet printing method.
      SOLUTION: The phase-change ink comprises (a) a colorant and (b) a phase-change ink carrier, where the carrier comprises (i) a branched triamide and (ii) a polyethylene wax having an average peak molecular weight of about 350 to about 730 and a polydispersity of about 1.0001 to about 1.500. The phase-change ink can be applied in a process comprising, for example, (1) a step for incorporating the phase-change ink into an ink jet printing apparatus, (2) a step for melting the ink and (3) a step for forming droplets of the melted ink to be ejected in an imagewise pattern onto a substrate to be printed on.
